Our Leadership
Kristof Pasternak, Founder & Owner
Kristof Pasternak is the visionary founder of Komando Security and the driving force behind its success. With over 17 years of dynamic cybersecurity experience, Kristof brings unparalleled expertise to the table. His extensive background spans risk management, IT security audits, data protection, cloud security, regulatory compliance, incident response, and privacy.
Prior to starting his own cybersecurity firm, Kristof served in various cybersecurity roles gaining invaluable experience along the way. Kristof’s notable achievements include his tenure at a large financial institution, where he was responsible for maturing its cybersecurity practices. Prior to that, Kristof spent several years at multinational corporations and federal agencies, where he was tasked with securing large enterprise systems and ensuring compliance with federal regulations. In addition, Kristof served honorably in the U.S. Army and completed a tour of duty in Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
Kristof holds a Bachelor of Science in Security Systems, a graduate certificate in Information Security and Assurance, and is distinguished by his array of professional certifications, including CISSP, CGRC, CCSP, and CEH. Kristof’s academic achievements and professional credentials underscore his dedication to excellence and ongoing professional development.
